The Doctoral Program in Health Sciences is an official university degree that deals with training in basic and clinical health research. It is developed jointly by the University of A Coruña, the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña (CHUAC) and the Institute of Biomedical Research of A Coruña (INIBIC).
The objective of this program is to train in methodological and instrumental skills to develop research projects in the field of Health Sciences, thus enabling professionals in this field to better understand research and its latest advances.
Students in this program are preferably graduates in Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Biology, Pharmacy and other degrees related to Health Sciences.
The program is structured into Fields of Research in which the thesis work must be framed. These fields were established in the verification report that the Galician Agency for the Quality of the Galician University System (ACSUG) approved in September 2013, authorizing the teaching of this program.
The program is integrated in the International Doctoral School of the Universidade da Coruña (EIDUDC), with the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program (CAPD) responsible for the academic direction.
The UDC maintains all the information and regulations concerning doctoral studies at the following web address: https://www.udc.es/es/eid/normativa/
